Day 1 Stockbridge Georgia to Commerce Georgia

Today was a 122 mile ride over rolling hills. We started out at sunrise and about 15 miles in I ended up connecting with Ed and Tom from Terre Haute. We rode together the rest of the way. Lots of great low traffic roads with some smalls like Social Circle and Winder. Couldn't figure out why so many people in passing cars were dressed up and then remembered it was Sunday. I went much faster than I was planning to but feel pretty good. Michele has banned me from texting while riding so I'll only send updates while stopped or in the evening. All in all a really fun day. Tomorrow in the early afternoon we'll get our first taste of the mountains.
